Who We Are
A Calvary Chapel church serving the Lord teaching the Bible line by line and verse by verse.
A Biblical Church
Everything we do as a church has a scriptural reason. Besides teaching the Bible, we seek to run the church according to biblical instructions, especially from the book of Acts and the Pastoral Epistles.
A Loving Church
Sacrificial love is the greatest evidence that the Holy Spirit is working in a church. Jesus said in John 13:35, “By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” Our emphasis is to be a church that excels at loving.
A Healthy Church
The reason why we’re such a healthy church is because we’ve applied and stuck to biblical guidelines, putting the focus on Jesus, relying on the Holy Spirit, and making all decisions through prayer. We genuinely value being healthy on the inside, not just on the outward appearance of things.
A Serving Church
We embrace the biblical instruction that God is faithful to call and stir His people to be His servants. He has done an amazing work of giving people great joy by serving alongside one another. There’s always something someone can do to be a blessing to the church.
A Worshipping Church
We give great place to music at the closing of our services, giving people the opportunity to respond to Jesus after the message, through worship and adoration.
A Missional Church
Jesus and His Apostles had a global vision, and so do we. We are heavily involved in raising up, sending out and financially supporting church planters around the world. We also believe that every Christian is called to be on mission every day in their local environment, believing God is eager and able to reach lost people with the Gospel.
Our Discipleship Philosophy
Jesus commissioned the church to make disciples. We embrace His mission wholeheartedly. Our ministry philosophy to make disciples comes directly from Ephesians 4:11-12, “And He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.”
TAKE AWAY: Church leaders are primarily called by Jesus to facilitate 3 things:
- Equip people through teaching
- Facilitate ministry opportunities
- Encourage the building up of one another
